Target Information

Swine follitropin subunit beta, also known as FSH-B, is a protein encoded by the FSHB gene. It is a component of the follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which is a heterodimer consisting of a common alpha subunit and a hormone-specific beta subunit. FSH-B plays a critical role in follicle development and spermatogenesis by binding to its receptor on target cells and initiating downstream signaling.
