Bovine CD21, also known as complement receptor type 2 (CR2), is a 145 kDa single-pass type I membrane glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in the immune response. It binds to C3 complement fragments, particularly C3d, C3dg, and iC3b, which are covalently attached to antigens or complement-activating surfaces. CD21 is essential for the uptake and retention of immune complexes, the survival of memory B cells, and the development of humoral responses to T-dependent antigens.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
