BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the bovine rotavirus. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose bovine rotavirus infection. The clone N08Y637 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y638 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Bovine rotavirus is a viral pathogen that primarily affects young calves. The virus infects and damages the lining of the small intestine, leading to malabsorption of nutrients and the onset of diarrhea. Affected calves may exhibit symptoms such as dehydration, lethargy, and weight loss.

This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
