BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the Chlamydia avium. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose Chlamydia avium infection in avian. The clone N08Y1 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y2 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Chlamydia avium is a species of bacteria within the Chlamydiaceae family that can infect birds. In birds, Chlamydia avium infections can lead to a condition known as avian chlamydiosis. Clinical signs may include respiratory symptoms, conjunctivitis, and systemic illness. Severe cases can result in reduced egg production, infertility, and mortality.

This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
