It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose Brucella abortus infection in bovine, ovine, caprine, and swine. The clone N08Y447 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y448 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Brucella abortus primarily infects cattle and can cause abortion, stillbirth, and reduced milk production in infected animals. Other animals, such as bison, elk, and certain marine mammals, can also be affected. The bacterium is primarily transmitted through direct contact with infected animals or their tissues, fluids, and products. The consumption of unpasteurized milk and dairy products from infected animals can also lead to human infection.
