Mouse Anti-Clostridium difficile Toxin A (TcdA) Monoclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic mouse anti-Clostridium difficile toxin A (TcdA) monoclonal antibody was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It is used in ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose Clostridium difficile infection in feline, canine, equine, and swine. The clone N08Y339 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y340 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Clostridium difficile Toxin A (TcdA) is one of the two major toxins produced by the bacterium Clostridium difficile, a Gram-positive, spore-forming anaerobic bacterium. TcdA is responsible for causing damage to the mucosal lining of the colon, leading to inflammation and the characteristic symptoms of C. difficile infection. TcdA has long been a target for the diagnosis of Clostridium difficile.
