BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the infectious pancreatic necrosis virus. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose infectious pancreatic necrosis virus infection in juvenile salmonid. The clone N07Y81 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N07Y82 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

IPNV is a virus that primarily affects salmonid fish species, including salmon and trout. IPNV belongs to the Birnaviridae family. IPNV can lead to infectious pancreatic necrosis, characterized by necrosis of the pancreatic tissue and various systemic manifestations.
