Product Overview

BioVenic mouse anti-Nipah virus nucleoprotei monoclonal antibody was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It is used in ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose Nipah virus infection in swine. The clone N08Y769 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y770 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information

Nucleoprotein is an important structural protein of Nipah virus. It wraps viral RNA to form a nucleocapsid and protects the viral genome during replication and transcription. Nucleoproteins also play a role in the assembly of new viral particles, helping the virus spread within the host. In diagnostic studies of Nipah virus, nucleoprotein is often used as a target.
