BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the infectious bursal disease virus. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose infectious bursal disease virus infection in chicken. The clone N08Y13 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y14 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV) is a birnavirus, belonging to the Birnaviridae family. It has a bisegmented double-stranded RNA genome. IBDV is a highly contagious virus that primarily affects young chickens, particularly targeting the Bursa of Fabricius. Clinical signs include depression, diarrhea, and immunosuppression.

This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
