BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the koi herpes virus. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose koi herpes virus infection in Cyprinus carpio. The clone N07Y77 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N07Y78 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Koi herpes virus (KHV) is a highly contagious virus that affects common carp, including koi and common carp (Cyprinus carpio). KHV exhibits tropism for epithelial tissues, especially the gills, skin, and mouth of infected fish. It can cause significant morbidity and mortality in infected fish.

This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
