Target Information

Porcine B-cell subsets are integral components of the swine immune system, playing crucial roles in adaptive immunity and immune responses. These subsets include transitional B cells, which are recent emigrants from the bone marrow and are in the process of maturing into functional B cells within peripheral lymphoid organs such as the spleen or lymph nodes. Additionally, effector/memory B cells and plasmablasts are identified based on surface markers like CD21 and sIgM, with further heterogeneity observed within these populations.
