Target Information
Porcine fibrinogen-like 1 (pFGL1), also known as fibrinogen-related protein 1 (Frp1), is a protein found in pigs that shares structural similarities with fibrinogen. It is part of the fibrinogen-like domain family, which is involved in a variety of biological processes, including blood coagulation, immune response, and tissue repair. pFGL1 plays a role in the inflammatory response and has been implicated in the regulation of immune cell function. It may also contribute to the structural integrity of tissues and the maintenance of homeostasis. The protein's function in pigs is likely to be similar to its roles in other species, where it has been associated with the modulation of inflammation and the promotion of wound healing.
