Target Information

PA28 gamma, also known as PSME3, is a member of the PA28 (Protease 28) family of proteins, which are part of the 19S regulatory particle of the proteasome complex. This protein plays a crucial role in the immune response and the processing of antigenic peptides for presentation by major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules. As a component of the immunoproteasome, PA28 Gamma contributes to the degradation of damaged or misfolded proteins, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis.

Target Porcine PA28 Gamma
Target Synonym PSME3; Proteasome activator complex subunit 3
Gene ID 397625
UniProt ID P61291
