Target Information
Pseudomonas species are classified as Gram-negative bacteria based on their cell wall structure. While some Pseudomonas species are beneficial and play roles in nutrient cycling, others can be opportunistic pathogens causing infections in animals. This species is a common cause of hospital-acquired infections, particularly in individuals with weakened immune systems, cystic fibrosis, or those on ventilators.
