Rabbit Anti-Bovine Beta-Lactoglobulin (LGB) Polyclonal Antibody-[Biotin]
Product Overview
BioVenic rabbit polyclonal antibody is specific for bovine beta-lactoglobulin. It is affinity purified by protein G. It can be applied to ELISA assay of bovine beta-lactoglobulin.
Specifications
Target Information
Bovine beta-lactoglobulin (BLG) is the most abundant whey protein in cow's milk, accounting for approximately 50% of the total whey protein content. It belongs to the lipocalin family and is known for its ability to bind to a variety of small hydrophobic ligands, such as retinol, fatty acids, and vitamin D. This binding capability suggests a role in the transport of these nutrients from the mother to the offspring, although its exact physiological function in milk is not fully understood.
