Target Information
Feline colony stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R) is a cell surface glycoprotein encoded by the CSF1R gene, primarily expressed on mononuclear phagocytes, including monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. It plays a crucial role in the growth, proliferation, and differentiation of these cells during immune responses. CSF1R signaling regulates the differentiation of myeloid cells toward an M2 phenotype of macrophage, which within the tumor microenvironment promotes survival, proliferation, and metastatic potential of tumor cells, along with suppressing antitumor immunity.
