Target Information

Porcine fibrinogen is a glycoprotein involved in blood clotting and wound healing. It is a key component of fibrin glue, a biological tissue adhesive used to facilitate hemostasis, seal tissues, and improve wound healing in various clinical settings. Fibrinogen is converted to fibrin during the coagulation cascade, forming a stable fibrin polymer under the action of factor XIII, fibronectin, and calcium chloride.
