Porcine interleukin 22 (IL-22) is a regulatory cytokine belonging to the IL-10 family, with a molecular weight of approximately 21.5 kDa. It is primarily produced by immune cells such as T helper 17 (Th17) cells and innate lymphoid cells (ILCs) and acts on epithelial cells to promote tissue protection and regeneration.
