Target Information

Chicken interferon beta (IFN-β) is a type I interferon that plays a crucial role in the innate immune response against viral infections. It is produced by host cells in response to viral nucleic acids and acts by inducing the expression of interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs), which have antiviral, antiproliferative, and immunomodulatory effects. In chickens, IFN-β is involved in the activation of immune cells and the regulation of inflammatory responses.
