Target Information
Fibroblast growth factor 21 is encoded by the FGF21 gene in cattle. It is a hepatokine that activates the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) signaling pathway to maintain intracellular energy balance and tissue integrity by promoting catabolism and inhibiting anabolic regulation.
