Target Information
Leukemia Inhibitory Factor (LIF) is encoded by the LIF gene in dogs. LIF has the ability to induce terminal differentiation in leukemic cells. Its functions include promoting hematopoietic differentiation in both normal and myeloid leukemia cells, inducing differentiation in neuronal cells, and stimulating the synthesis of acute-phase proteins in hepatocytes.

User Note
- Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Avoid mixing by vortexing or pipetting. Reconstitute in 10 mM PBS (pH 7.4) to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Do not vortex. Aliquote the reconstituted solution to minimise freeze-thaw cycles.
