Target Information
Bone morphogenetic protein-10 (BMP-10) is a member of the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) superfamily in chickens. It plays a role in cardiovascular development and may have functions in the maintenance of heart function. In poultry, BMP-10 could be studied for its potential impacts on growth, development, and possibly heart health. It might also be relevant in genetic selection for traits related to muscle and bone growth.
