Target Information
Swine C-X-C Motif Chemokine 10 (CXCL10) is a peptide hormone that belongs to the CXC chemokine family. It is also known as IP-10 (Interferon-inducible Protein 10). CXCL10 is produced by various cell types, including monocytes, endothelial cells, and fibroblasts, in response to IFN-γ. This chemokine plays a crucial role in immune responses by attracting activated T-lymphocytes, monocytes, and macrophages to sites of inflammation or infection. It also promotes T cell adhesion to endothelial cells and has anti-tumor and anti-angiogenic properties. CXCL10 is involved in various pathological processes, including viral infections, autoimmune diseases, and cancer.
