Target Information
Vibrio cholerae is a Gram-negative bacterium of the Vibrio genus. It is responsible for causing cholera, a severe dehydrating diarrheal disease. The bacterium has a flagellum at one pole and several pili throughout its cell surface. It undergoes respiratory and fermentative metabolism. Two serogroups called O1 and O139 are responsible for cholera outbreaks. The O139 serotype has been reported in loach and shrimp.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C for 12 months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
