Target Information

Influenza A viruses with hemagglutinin (HA) subtype H13 are low pathogenic avian influenza viruses (LPAIVs). H13 AIVs have been infrequently isolated from wild waterfowl. These viruses typically cause asymptomatic infections and are primarily sustained in gull and tern populations.
