Target Information
African horse sickness (AHS) is a highly contagious and frequently deadly disease affecting horses, mules, and donkeys, caused by the African horse sickness virus. This virus belongs to the genus Orbivirus within the family Reoviridae and includes nine different serotypes capable of causing the disease. The earliest records of AHS date back to the mid-1600s, occurring south of the Sahara Desert following the arrival of horses in southern Africa.

This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C for 12 months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
