Target Information

Madurella mycetomatis is a fungus primarily found in Central Africa, known for causing mycetoma in humans. It has been detected in both soil and anthill samples, thriving best at 37°C but able to grow up to 40°C. There are reports of eumycetoma caused by Madurella mycetomatis in a mare as well.
