BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for canine adenovirus type I. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose canine adenovirus infection in canine, fox, wolf, coyote, skunk, and bear. The clone N07Y9 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N07Y10 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Canine adenovirus type I (CAV-1) is a virus that primarily infects dogs. It belongs to the Adenoviridae family and the virus primarily targets the respiratory and liver cells in dogs. CAV-1 can cause a severe liver disease known as infectious canine hepatitis, which can lead to symptoms such as fever, lethargy, abdominal pain, and hemorrhagic gastroenteritis.

This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
