BioVenic mouse anti-Salmonella sp. monoclonal antibody was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It is used in ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose Salmonella sp. infection in bovine, ovine, and swine. The clone N08Y441 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y442 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Salmonella bacteria are Gram-negative, and include various species, with Salmonella enterica being one of the most well-known. Salmonella can infect a broad range of hosts, including humans and animals. The primary mode of transmission is through the ingestion of food or water contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. Salmonella infections can lead to a spectrum of clinical manifestations, ranging from gastroenteritis (diarrhea, abdominal cramps, fever) to more severe conditions such as typhoid fever.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
