Mouse Anti-Avian Influenza Virus Type A H1N1 Subtype Hemagglutinin (HA) Monoclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic mouse anti-hemagglutinin (HA) monoclonal antibody is specific for avian influenza virus type A H1N1 subtype hemagglutinin. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to sandwich ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to track the evolution of the virus, predict potential shifts in infectivity, and develop effective vaccines. The clone O18Y13 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone O18Y14 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
The hemagglutinin (HA) protein acts as a key factor in H1N1 entry into host cells. This attachment is a vital initial step in the infection process, enabling the virus to enter and subsequently replicate within the host cells. HA is also a major determinant of the virus's ability to infect different species and tissues. Its capacity to adapt and evolve is a central factor in the virus's ability to jump between avian and mammalian hosts.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with dry ice. Store at -20°C to -80°C on receipt (up to 12 months). Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody.
