It is used in ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose rotavirus A infection in bovine. The clone N08Y647 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y648 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Bovine rotavirus A is a species of rotavirus that specifically affects cattle. Bovine rotavirus A is a significant pathogen in young calves, particularly those less than three weeks old. Calves infected with Bovine rotavirus A often show signs of dehydration, lethargy, and a decrease in weight gain.
