Canine relaxin is a peptide hormone found in dogs that belongs to the relaxin family of hormones. It is structurally and functionally related to human relaxin, playing a significant role in reproductive processes and tissue remodeling. The primary function of Canine Relaxin is to promote the growth and development of reproductive tissues, particularly in the female reproductive system. It is involved in the relaxation of the pubic ligaments and softening of the cervix, preparing the birth canal for parturition.
