Target Information

Paternal expression of imprinted gene 10 (PEG10) is a protein with diverse functions that plays a significant role in multiple biological processes. Initially identified for its role in the proliferation and differentiation of germ cells, PEG10 is now understood to have broader implications in development, cell cycle regulation, and cell survival. This protein is also involved in the regulation of gene expression, acting as a transcriptional activator. It has been implicated in the epigenetic control of gene expression, particularly through its interaction with chromatin and histone-modifying enzymes.
