Target Information

Sheep CD45, also known as leukocyte common antigen (LCA), is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) that is ubiquitously expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells in sheep, including lymphocytes, macrophages, and granulocytes. It plays a crucial role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, serving as an important regulator of Src-family kinases. CD45 is essential for T- and B-cell antigen receptor signaling and helps modulate cytokine receptor signaling by suppressing JAK kinases.
