Target Information

Streptomyces mobaraensis transglutaminase, commonly known as MTGase, is an enzyme derived from the Streptomyces mobaraensis bacterium. It is a member of the transglutaminase family, which are known for their ability to catalyze the acyl transfer between the γ-carboxyamide group of a peptide-bound glutamine donor and the primary amine group of a lysine residue in a peptide acceptor, forming an isopeptide bond.
