Target Information

Animal mycoplasmosis is a disease caused by prokaryotes lacking a cell wall, classified under the Mollicutes class. Mycoplasma bovigenitalium has been linked to reproductive issues in cattle. In females, genital infections caused by Mycoplasma bovigenitalium are characterized by granular vulvovaginitis with mucopurulent vaginal discharge, which can lead to infertility and, in some cases, necrotizing endometritis.
