Target Information

Mycoplasmas are well-known causative agents of respiratory diseases across various animal species, including humans. Mycoplasma cynos is an emerging bacterium associated with respiratory infections in dogs. It was isolated in 1972 from two kenneled dogs suffering from pneumonia and was found to cause pneumonia accompanied by significant inflammation of the bronchi and respiratory tract tissues.
