Target Information
Francisella tularensis is a pathogenic, aerobic Gram-negative coccobacillus bacterium, known for causing tularemia. Tularemia spreads through contact with animals that have the bacteria.This non-spore-forming and non-motile bacterium has a subspecies, Francisella tularensis subsp. holarctica (Type B), that primarily infects aquatic rodents such as beavers and muskrats in North America, as well as hares and rodents in Eurasia.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C for 12 months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
