Goat pox, known scientifically as Variola caprina, is a contagious viral disease attributed to the Goatpox virus, a member of the poxvirus family affecting goats. Transmission typically occurs through the respiratory tract, although it can also spread through broken skin. This virus is most prevalent in densely populated livestock conditions and results in widespread pock lesions on the mucous membranes and skin of goats. The virus can infect goats, sheep, and humans alike.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with wet ice packs. Store at -20°C for 12 months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
