Target Information
Sapoviruses have been found in numerous mammals, including swine, sea lions, dogs, bats, and rats. Astroviruses, part of the Astroviridae family, were first identified in 1975. They have been isolated not only from humans but also from various mammalian species and birds, such as ducks, chickens, and turkey poults. Adenoviruses, which are double-stranded DNA viruses, can infect all vertebrate groups, encompassing mammals, birds, reptiles, and fish. Although most adenoviruses are species-specific, certain types have the potential to infect multiple hosts.
