Target Information

Mycoplasma species are well-known pathogens in both human and veterinary medicine. Mammals, particularly primates including humans, can host similar or even identical Mycoplasma species, which may be either commensal or pathogenic. Mycoplasma lipofaciens has been reported in chickens, turkeys, ducks, and raptor eggs.
