Target Information

Pasteurella multocida is a Gram-negative, non-motile coccobacillus from the family Pasteurellaceae that is sensitive to penicillin. It is responsible for various diseases in mammals and birds, such as fowl cholera in poultry, atrophic rhinitis in pigs, and hemorrhagic septicemia in both wild and domesticated ruminants, including cattle, buffalo, sheep, goats, deer, and antelope.
