Burkholderia mallei Probe-based qPCR Kit

Glanders, a zoonotic disease, is caused by the bacterium Burkholderia mallei. While it predominantly impacts horses, donkeys, and mules, it can also infect other animals such as goats, dogs, and cats. Burkholderia mallei is a Gram-negative, bipolar aerobic bacterium. Although it has been eradicated in the United States and most Western countries, the disease continues to affect animals in regions of Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Central America, and South America.
