Porcine DnaJ Hsp40 member B6 (DNAJB6) is a member of the DnaJ/Hsp40 family of porcine heat shock proteins and is required for the maintenance of cellular protein homeostasis. DNAJB6 plays a role in assisting in the correct folding of proteins as well as preventing the accumulation of misfolded proteins, which is essential for the cellular stress response and for protein quality control.
