Porcine Rho-related Btb domain containing 3 (RHOBTB3) is an atypical member of the Rho family of GTPases, which functions as a regulator controlling protein transport from endosomes to the Golgi network. It is also a component of the CUL3-dependent E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, playing a role in the degradation of cyclin E and MUF-1. Unlike most Rho family members that are small GTPases, RHOBTB3 is an ATPase, and its ATPase activity is critical for its function.
