Target Information

Neospora is a single-celled parasite affecting livestock and companion animals. It was first discovered in 1984 in Norway, where it was identified in dogs. Neosporosis, the disease caused by infection with protozoal parasites from the genus Neospora, is now recognized as a leading cause of abortion in cattle worldwide.
