Goose parvovirus (GPV) is a highly contagious virus that affects goslings and ducklings, leading to Derzsy's disease in young geese and Muscovy ducks. Infected goslings, especially those younger than four weeks, experience high fatality rates, with mortality reaching up to 70% to 100%.
