Target Information
The H14 hemagglutinin (HA) subtype of Influenza A, identified as the 14th HA subtype, was initially isolated in the former Soviet Union during the 1980s. It went undetected for many years until 2010, when it was found in Wisconsin, USA, in long-tailed ducks and a white-winged scoter. In the United States, H14 has since been isolated in various states, including California, Mississippi, and Texas, and has also been reported in waterfowl in Guatemala.
