Target Information

Avian influenza, commonly known as bird flu, is a disease resulting from infection with avian influenza Type A viruses. It impacts both domestic and wild bird populations. The virus hemagglutinins H2, H4, H8, and H14 are associated with a highly pathogenic phenotype.
