Target Information

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a frequently encountered, encapsulated, rod-shaped bacterium that belongs to the Gram-negative group. It is capable of both aerobic and facultative anaerobic respiration. This bacterium can cause diseases in both plants and animals, including humans. Animals are most commonly colonized by exposure to water contaminated with P. aeruginosa.
